- The legal basis for processing relating to the organization of the conference is the performance of a public interest mission entrusted to AFD and the consent of the data subject.
- The legal basis for the processing related to the management of continuing education is the legitimate interest of AFD to ensure the follow-up of its training.
The categories of data processed are as follows:
- Identification data
- Personal life
- Professional life
- Connection data
Who has access to your data?
Your data is only accessible to internal employees who have a need to know in the course of performing their duties.
The data collected may be communicated as needed to third parties (partners, subcontractors and service providers). This sharing of information is done only to the extent necessary to perform the tasks we entrust to these third parties.
In addition, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, we may be required to communicate personal information to administrative or judicial authorities upon specific written request, motivated by the legislative texts on which the right of communication is based.
How long do we keep your data?
We have defined precise rules concerning the duration of the retention of personal data. To determine these periods, we take into account the different purposes for which the data is collected, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, operational issues and good industry practices. The retention periods applied do not exceed what is strictly necessary for the proper execution of the processing.
Data relating to the management of training courses at AFD are kept for a maximum period of 6 years. Data relating to events are kept for a maximum of 5 years.
Our commitments
We aim to keep your personal data in the safest and most secure manner at all times, and only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing. To this end, we put in place appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures to prevent any alteration, loss or unauthorized access to your data.
When we transfer your data to countries where the level of protection of personal data has not been recognized as adequate by the European Commission, we rely on the implementation of appropriate safeguards to ensure the protection of your personal data (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).
